Comprehensive Case Management is the core function of the Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC). This is a specialized service available to individuals who are eligible to receive supports under the auspice of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

The primary responsibility of the MSC includes the effective coordination of supports and services to assist people to identify and achieve their desired outcomes. Under the supervision of designated member of the Community Services Team, the Medicaid Service Coordinator (MSC) has responsibility for the overall management of the MSC and HCBS Waiver programs.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services field with at least one year of experience working with differently abled individuals.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to advocate on behalf of those supported.
  • Flexible schedule needed.
  • Valid NYS Driver's License required.
