Overview

The primary role of the Residential Supervisor is to ensure that all of the needs of the people supported in the program are met while working in partnership with them. These needs include, but are not limited to, ensuring their rights are both promoted and respected, supporting their health and safety and working with them to identify and realize their personal outcomes. In order to accomplish this, the Residential Supervisor leads a team of Direct Support Professionals and in conjunction with clinical providers works alongside the people they support to develop plans to meet the individual’s needs. The Residential Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that these plans are both followed and documented in an appropriate and timely manner.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Housing Sevices Operations Director, the Residential Supervisor is responsible for the management and operations of the residence, including supervision of the direct care staff. The Residential Supervisor is also responsible for the supervision and care of all individuals residing within the program, including but not limited to: ensuring the individuals safety, coordinating all aspects of the activity schedule; coordination of the Annual and Semi Annual review process and planning, and advocating for the needs of the individuals. The Residential Supervisor will ensure a focus on community integration and utilization of resources within the community.

Qualifications

· At least 2 years of supervisory experience

· High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred

· Must have ICF experience

· Experience with dealing with challenging behaviors preferred

· Familiarity with ICF regulations

· Must have a flexible Schedule

· Must have willingness to be on call

· Valid NYS Driver License and meets agency criteria to be a driver
