Overview

Under the supervision of the Human Resources Senior Manager, the Human Resources (HR) Assistant will provide reception and office support services for the human resources department, guests and employees.  The HR Assistant is responsible to meet, greet and provide assistance to all employees and visitors. Additionally, this position will be responsible to answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls for the Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities

  • Processing of employment documents
  • Update employee file with Statewide information, email program when clearance is received
  • Assist with DMV reporting to programs
  • Assist recruitment team with scheduling applicants for group interviews.
  • Provide information requested for audits and investigations. Maintain confidentiality of all information relating to individuals and staff.
  • Attend staff meetings and in-service meetings as requested
  • Assist with answering HR Support emails
  • Provide administrative support for Human Resources events and activities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma and one to two years’ relevant experience in Human Resources or a related field, or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • Candidate must be very organized and efficient, must have excellent communication skills, and must possess intermediate microsoft office skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
