    Under the Supervision of the Health Care Administrator, the Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall oversight and supervision of the healthcare needs of the people we support. The Associate Director of Nursing  will provide direct supervision and support to the Registered Nurses working in multiple divisions across a variety of service systems including OPWDD, OMH, DOH, etc.   In addition, The Associate Director of Nursing will work in conjunction with the respective Interdisciplinary Teams and Operating Divisions to ensure the delivery of the highest quality of integrated health and continuity of care to the people we support. The qualified candidate must be able to work in partnership with all personnel within the organization to ensure the highest quality of clinical services for the people we support in a manner that is consistent and aligned with the agency mission and vision, and the philosophy of the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL).



    • NYS RN License
    • BSN preferred
    • Valid NYS Driver’s License
    • Experience working with the differently-abled population preferred
    • Knowledge of state and federal regulations preferred (OPWDD, OMH, DOH, etc.)
    • 3+ years Nursing / Supervisory experience preferred
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and ability to be flexible to meet the needs of a diverse population in a variety of settings
    • Willingness to assume 24/7 on-call responsibility
    • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
