Works under the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Development and Mission Advancement (DMA) to align all marketing initiatives, materials and scheduling into a seamless course of events aimed at keeping a consistent fresh message for the Family of FREE Network. The Marketing Coordinator may deal with print, online, social media, TV, radio and director to consumer advertising all at one time. They keep watch over every initiative to ensure that it is accurate and timely. This role will maintain a clear message and consistent brand image across all media and work to advise the AVP about what is lacking or in need of change. It is the coordinators responsibility to take the lead maintenance role. The Marketing Coordinator is the liaison between the Family of FREE Network representatives and the vendors producing material that is released to the public. As a liaison the coordinator works to make sure all parties are in agreement about the content of specifics of each campaign. Coordinators work behind the scenes to ensure a smooth and orderly progression toward finished product and they are an essential part of a successful long term marketing partnership. Marketing Coordinators schedule marketing initiatives and events to suite the demand of the Family of FREE Network. Marketing schedules do not just consist of campaign start and end dates they also include deadlines for every step of the creation process, proof, draft and delivery dates, run times and other considerations that must be taken into account when calculating the most efficient and effective way to run a marketing initiative.
Perform day-to-day administration (updating content, adding blog posts, frequently monitor content for accuracy and reach out to appropriate people for information with deadlines and proper tracking, etc.) of the agency’s suite of websites, as needed.
Keep information current on events that are happening throughout the Family of FREE Network. Update as needed.
Ensure that social media is current.
Create email-marketing ads that are legible for recipients viewing. Use judgment, not all pdf’s are acceptable for Constant Contact and may have to be created in the system.
Work in conjunction with outside videographer and team members to ensure all videos are:
Cataloged, posted to the correct website, identify the need and use of each video, partner videos with complementing brochures and marketing material, and once video is posted to web send out video link via Facebook and Constant Contact when appropriate
Design and submit ads on behalf of the Family of FREE network for journals, advertisement in newspapers and online publications
