Summary/Objective The Operations Director is responsible for the overall management and supervision of a group of residential facilities. The Director’s primary role is to ensure that all of the needs of the people supported in their programs are met. These needs include ensuring their rights are both promoted and respected, supporting their health and safety, and working with them to identify and realize their personal outcomes. The Operations Director is responsible for ensuring that available resources are used efficiently and effectively, that funder and FREE, Inc. policies and procedures are followed, and that established program performance standards are met or exceeded. In collaboration with division leadership, the Operations Director is responsible for establishing and maintaining high standards of performance for their teams.

This includes working with them to develop daily living, professional and informed decision making skills while also supporting their health and safety and ensuring their rights are both promoted and respected.  In order to accomplish this, the Assistant Manager leads a team of Habilitation Specialists and Direct Support Professionals and in conjunction with residential and clinical providers to work alongside the people they support to develop plans to meet the individual’s needs.  The Assistant Manager is also responsible for ensuring that these plans are both followed and documented in an appropriate manner.  In addition, the Assistant Manager is responsible for providing supervision and support to the Day Services Habilitation Specialists (HS) and Direct Support Professionals (DSP).

The Sr. HS will work alongside the people we support in order to help them achieve their Personal Outcomes as well as discover and achieve professional goals. This includes adhering to a provided curriculum to teach, evaluate and observe progress, provide outreach and coordination of volunteer opportunities for participants, supporting their health and safety, implementing all aspects of the activity schedule, participating in the annual and semi-annual review process, development and implementation of individual’s goals/services, and advocating for the needs of individuals.  The Sr. HS is also responsible for providing supervision, assessment of individuals, and support to the Vocational Habilitation Specialist(s) (HS).
